Find and draw your favorite route

East Greenland offers a variety of cross country ski routes in winter season. Slide over the frozen Kong Oscar Fjord, starting directly at the entrance door of the Red House. Explore the surrounding valleys and frozen lakes with the skis.

Gently ascending slopes can be climbed with the Nordic skis and the snow conditions are mostly well prepared by the windy weather to allow for sliding without sinking. You trace your own route in the untouched snow.

Cross county ski equipment

… can be borrowed in the Red House. This way you don't have to carry your own ski equipment on the journey. We have ski with NNN-binding and sticks and shoes in various sizes. We recommend to bring your own shoes for better fit.

Easy gliding in the endless white range.

Follow the dog sledge route

If you prefer to follow a known track, just follow the dog sledge highway in the direction to the next village, Tinitequilaaq. Otherwise your destination is only limited by the ocean and the higher Peaks.
